OnePlus Foldable Phone Said To Launch in August
OnePlus already confirmed the launch of its first foldable smartphone in the second half of 2023 at the Mobile World Congress 2023. Today, reliable OnePlus leaker has posted that the phone will launch in August.
Google is gearing up to launch its first foldable phone – Pixel Fold next week. Samsung is said to launch its Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 in late July, earlier than its August launch.
We still don’t have the specifications of the OnePlus Fold, but it said that it will have flagship specifications. The company has already trademarked OnePlus V Fold and V Flip names with the China National Intellectual Property Administration recently, so the company might also launch a Flip phone alongside.
OnePlus rolled out its OnePlus Pad in India and other markets earlier this month, and the company wants to create an ecosystem that will allow the company to provide a seamless connection between OnePlus devices, such as smartphones, tablets, wearables, TVs, and other Internet-of-things devices.
Even though, Google is not expected to launch its foldable phone in India. OnePlus will likely launch its foldable phone in India since it is one of the important markets for the company. Will it compete with Samsung? We should know in a few months.
