ZEISS, a pioneer in lens manufacturing, has introduced the SFL 30 binocular in India as part of its Smart Focus Lightweight (SFL) portfolio. According to Zeiss, the new ZEISS SFL 30 is the most compact and lightest member of the ZEISS SF product family.
The new binoculars are available in ZEISS SFL 8×30 and 10×30 configurations. These are designed for nature and wildlife enthusiasts as well as travellers in India, as they fit easily into any bag, backpack, or jacket.
Because of a smaller lens diameter, thinner and more closely spaced lens elements, and a rugged and durable magnesium housing, the ZEISS SFL 30 is up to 23% lighter than comparable models.
This binocular uses the UHD definition concept for image quality, which ensures the highest level of detail and reproduces colours with natural fidelity thanks to special coatings, high-quality glass types, and improved optical design. It also has a high degree of light transmission and T* multicoating, which allows for precise imaging.
SmartFocus and a conveniently placed larger focusing wheel allow users to focus quickly and precisely even when wearing gloves. Because of its large exit pupil and redesigned eyecups, the ZEISS SFL 30 is as easy on the eyes as a pair of much larger, high-performance binoculars.
Pricing and Availability
The ZEISS SFL 8×30 will be available from retailers starting in April 2023, while the availability of the SFL 10×30 hasn’t been confirmed yet. The prices of these binoculars will be revealed based on requests, said the company.
