ZEE5 SharePlay Feature Offers Collective Viewing Experience

ZEE5 has unveiled a new feature called SharePlay, offering its subscribers an immersive collective viewing experience. The feature made its debut with the OTT premiere of the Salman Khan blockbuster, “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.”

SharePlay allows ZEE5 users to watch content together through FaceTime on iPhones and iPads, fostering virtual connections and social interactions. By utilizing SharePlay on the ZEE5 app, viewers can initiate sessions with up to 32 people, depending on the device’s capabilities.

This enables friends and family to come together and enjoy their favorite shows and movies simultaneously. Participants receive a notification upon connection, providing them with the option to select “Watch Together” or “Play Only for Me,” catering to individual preferences.

The feature also includes a smart volume function, adjusting audio dynamically, and enabling premium subscribers to stream a wide range of content, including shows and music.
