Xiaomi offers 2 year warranty for select Redmi and POCO users upgrade option Mi 11 Ultra users

After reports, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will offer Redmi Note 10 Pro, Pro Max and POCO X3 Pro users a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Xiaomi India president Murali Krishnan B in a video said that some of the batches of the units were not up to its standards, hence it is offering an extended warranty.

To remind you, the company offered extra 6 months warranty for the POCO X3 Pro users last year, after several users started facing motherboard issue. The company already offers 2-year warranty for the POCO F4 and POCO F5 models.

Users of these devices can visit authorized service centres for comprehensive technical support and repairs at no additional cost if these are within 2 years of the warranty period.

However, the company has mentioned in the terms that the devices shouldn’t have any damage to the outer surface, including but not limited to cracks.

Additionally, Xiaomi also said that Mi 11 Ultra users who are facing Wi-Fi issues can get a free upgrade to the Xiaomi 12 Pro, since the company has stopped selling the Mi 11 Ultra long back. Those who had already paid for the upgrade can get the amount back by contacting Xiaomi, the company added.

It is also giving an option for the Mi 11 Ultra users facing the issue to upgrade to the latest Xiaomi 13 Pro by paying Rs. 30,000, instead of the original price of Rs. 79,999.
