Xiaomi Band 7 Pro with 1.64″ AMOLED Display 117 Sport Modes GPS Up To 12 Days of Battery Life Announced
This year, Xiaomi showed off the Mi Band 7, and today, the Mi Band 7 Pro and the Mi 12S Series were released in China. The Mi Band 7 Pro has a new look and a much bigger screen than the Mi Band 7.
The Pro model sits somewhere between a smart band and a smartwatch. It does have a 1.64″ horizontally wider display than the Mi Band 7 display, which is considerably larger than the standard Band 7. The display here has a “retina level” pixel density of 326ppi, a resolution of 280 x 456p, and an Always-on display. In addition, the Band 7 Pro comes with over 180 watch faces out of the box. In addition, the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro now includes an ambient light sensor, which enables automatic brightness.
The Mi Band 7 Pro provides blood-oxygen and continuous heart rate monitoring as far as health tracking functions are concerned. If it detects that your SpO2 levels are too low, it will buzz. It is also possible to track the three stages of sleep—light, deep, and REM sleep—using advanced sleep monitoring. In terms of the other features, the majority of them are identical to those found on the normal Mi Band 7. Consumers will have access to a variety of health features, including continuous monitoring of your heart rate and blood oxygen levels, as well as monitoring of your sleep.
Up to 117 different sports modes are supported by the Pro model, and built-in NFC and GPS allow you to track your exercises even when you don’t have your smartphone with you. There are 10 running courses on the fitness tracker. There are interval running courses for different skill levels; Moderate-Intensity Interval Training (MIIT); aerobic endurance training; and more. You can challenge your friends to make staying healthy a game by getting medals for things like how many steps you take each day, how many calories you burn, and other readings.
Furthermore, the fitness tracker is water-resistant up to 5ATM and is powered by a 235mAh battery. Xiaomi claims that it can be used for up to 12 days on a single charge, while the charging time is about an hour. The built-in GPS receiver is another significant advantage of the Pro. Additionally, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and QZSS are all supported. Besides this, there’s no non-NFC variant available with the Mi Band 7 Pro.
