vivo today introduced the X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ smartphones in the new X90 series in China, as it had promised. The X90 and X90 Pro pack a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE 120Hz AMOLED screen, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and the Pro+ get a Samsung’s 2K+ E6 120Hz AMOLED screen with 1,440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The X90 and X90 Pro are powered by Dimensity 9200 SoC and the X90 Pro+ has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and dual vapor chamber cooling with a total area of 8,900mm².
Cameras
The X90 has a 50MP main camera, IMX866 sensor, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12MP 2X portrait camera. The Pro and Pro+ models feature a 50MP 1″ IMX989 sensor, OIS, f/1.75 aperture glass-and-plastic lens, 50MP 50mm IMX758 2X portrait camera. The X90 Pro has a 12MP IMX663 sensor and the Pro+ features a 48MP IMX598 sensor for ultra-wide. The X90 Pro+ also has a 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3.5X periscope telephoto camera and OIS.
The Pro+ can achieve fast capture as low as 30ms, and can complete focus shooting in low-light environments as low as 0.1 lux. All the phones have Zeiss T* coating, Zeiss flare portrait and miniature blur modes and new V2 self-developed imaging chip with peak energy efficiency ratio of 16.3TOPS per watt. The new chip offer noise reduction and dynamic range improvements in low light images, and improvements in AI performance in combination with Dimensity 9200.
Battery
The vivo X90 and X90 Pro pack 4,810mAh and 4,870mAh batteries respectively with 120W wired fast charging, and the Pro+ packs a 4,700mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The Pro and Pro+ pack 50W wireless charging.

The X90 and X90 Pro are available to order from today and will go on sale in China from November 30th.
The X90 Pro+ is priced at 6499 yuan (US$ 910 / Rs. 74,315 approx.) for 12GB+256GB and 6999 yuan (US$ 980 / Rs. 80,030 approx.) for 12GB+512GB models. It will be available to order from November 28th and will go on sale in China from December 6th. No details about the global roll out yet.
