It looks like vivo will soon refresh its renowned V series for India as well as for other global markets. Some details about the upcoming vivo V27 series smartphones have leaked online. The SoCs used in the upcoming vivo V27 Pro and V27e have been confirmed thanks to Geekbench listings.
The vivo V27 Pro with model number V2230 will have a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 440 ppi, according to listings. We expect it to have a high-refresh rate AMOLED screen, as with previous V-series devices.
The vivo V27 Pro passed Geekbench with 8GB of RAM and a MediaTek MT6896Z processor with four Cortex A78 cores and four Cortex A55 cores. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, which was announced in December 2022, should power the smartphone. The phone will also be equipped with the most recent Android 13 software.
Other details about the vivo V27 Pro are unknown. We expect the vivo S16 Pro, which was announced in China last year, to be renamed for the global and Indian markets.
The vivo V27e, on the other hand, should be the series’ entry-level device. This model also has the same Full HD+ panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 440 ppi.
The phone will have 8GB of RAM and will be powered by a MediaTek MT6789 chipset. The MediaTek Helio G99 4G SoC is represented by the MT6789. It will also be equipped with the most recent Android 13 software.
The vivo V27 (V2246), surfaced in Geekbench recently, and it is expected to be powered by MediaTek chip (probably Dimensity 7200) and Mali-G610MC4 GPU, 12GB of RAM. It is said to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera and support for 66W fast charging.
The vivo V27 series will be unveiled in March 2023. More information about the vivo V27 series should become available in the coming weeks.
