Vivo S1 Review Beautiful design and long lasting battery

Vivo has designed numerous phones in the last few years. Recently, the company launched vivo S1 the first smartphone in its all new ‘S’ series. The India price of the Vivo S1 starts at Rs 17,990. The phone is widely available both online and offline.

Vivo S1 Design:

The vivo S1 is one the most good looking device. It comes in two colour options, Skyline Blue and Diamond Black, both sporting a dual tone finish. It is a lightweight phone. Besides the design, the Vivo S1 also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Halo FullView display, 32MP selfie camera, AI triple rear cameras, 4500mAh battery, 18W fast charging support, among other things. It is also a well-crafted phone, with edges well curved and that makes it easy to hold the phone in hands

Apart from this, we have a mono speaker grille at the bottom of the device, with the Vivo S1’s Micro-USB port, as well as its 3.5mm jack, sitting right beside it.
Vivo S1 Display:

The Vivo S1 comes with a 6.38-inch super AMOLED display and offers 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 90 per cent screen-to-body-ratio and FHD+ screen resolution. The Vivo S1 comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor that Vivo calls Flash In-display fingerprint sensor. The sensor can unlock the screen of the phone in just 0.48 seconds. To protect this display, Vivo has added a Schott Xensation 3D glass that is claimed to offer 8.15% better scratch resistance than Gorilla Glass 5.
Vivo S1 performance and software:

The Vivo S1 is the first smartphone in India that is powered by 12mn based Helio P65 processor. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie that is customised by Vivo’s own FunTouch OS 9. The India price of the Vivo S1 starts at Rs 17,990. This model of the phone comes packed with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model of the Vivo S1 and this one comes for Rs 18,990. The top-end model of the Vivo S1 comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage and this version of the phone comes for Rs 19,990. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD.

However, it isn’t the best when it comes to graphic-intensive tasks such as heavy games. While light games such as Alto’s Odessy worked flawlessly on the device, with Asphalt 9 also performing quite well on the Vivo S1, it was games like PUBG Mobile that truly tested the Vivo S1.
Vivo S1 Camera:

The Vivo S1 includes triple sensors on the rear panel and single on the front. On the front there’s a 32-megapixel camera for clicking selfies. On the rear panel there is a 16-megapixel primary camera, a 8-megapixel secondary wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel camera with depth sensor. The Vivo S1 can click good photos when it’s bright and sunny outdoors.
Vivo S1 Battery:

The Vivo S1 comes packed with a massive 4500mAh battery that comes with 18W dual fast charging support. The phone delivers good battery backup. The phone takes about an hour to charge from zero to 100 percent. This is a substantial battery capacity that can easily manage about a day and a half on a single charge with average to above average usage. Additionally, the phone supports reverse charging. So, you can charge other devices using the Vivo S1.
