TECNO Mobile just launched the CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian, after a lot of teasers. It is India’s first multi-colour-changing smartphone, with Polychromatic Photoisomer technology, said the company.
Multi Color Changing back
The technology successfully allows the monochrome back cover of a smartphone to show multiple changing colours under illumination, giving an immersive “light chasing” experience.
The innovative system uses the recovery and breakage effect of the chain of photosynthesis molecular bonds under ultraviolet light, making the colorless molecular groups chromogenic and reverting to colourless. The design of the phone is inspired by Mondrian Art, the product has been awarded USA Muse Design Award and A’ Design Award from Italy.
Camera
The phone has a 64MP camera with RGBW + (G + P) lens co-developed with Samsung. The G+P technology replaces plastic lenses with crystal glass lenses that increase light intake by more than 208%, according to the company. It has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Hybrid Image Stabilisation (HIS). There is a 50MP 50mm portrait camera and has up to 300% increased focus speed, enabling to capture much more precise images using laser detection focus.
The phone has a 6.8″ FHD+display with 120Hz refresh rate, 94.26% screen-to-body ratio, TUV Rheinland Eye Protection, is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 SoC with 8GB RAM with up to 5GB virtual RAM, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging
