Sony Xperia Stream Gaming Gear For Xperia 1 IV Announced

At a Sony Xperia gaming event today, the company showed off the Xperia Stream, a cooling system and streaming platform that fits over the Sony Xperia 1 IV like a case and is powered by the device’s USB-C connector.

Xperia Stream is precisely balanced and pleasant to grip over long hours of competitiveness. The device has a full-sized HDMI port, a LAN port, a headphone jack, and a USB-C port on top that connects to the phone via USB-C. Since it lacks any extra buttons or joysticks, you must still play games on the phone’s screen.

The cooling system is a fan, and the speed of the fan can be changed with the help of the Game Enhancer tool. The Game Enhancer menu allows for customizable control of the case-integrated cooling fans.

Additionally, it has four ports at the bottom: a 3.5mmjack, an HDMI output, an Ethernet port, and a USB-C port. The video output is limited to 1080p at 120Hz, but you can still connect via a monitor or TV while keeping the phone charged.

Additionally, you can connect a capture card to record and live-stream your gaming encounters. Just put your Xperia 1 IV into the gaming gear until it clicks, and you’re set. When not in use, you can detach the Xperia Stream and use the smaller Xperia 1 IV.
