Following the recent release of its brand-new SA-RS5 wireless rear speakers, Sony has added the HT-S400 soundbar to its audio line up in India. The soundbar combines Dolby Digital and S-Force PRO Front Surround by using Sony’s digital sound field processing technology to offer cinematic surround sound.
The front speakers are X-balanced. Rectangular speakers maximize diaphragm size. It lowers driver excursion while maintaining sound pressure and improves vocal clarity. Furthermore, the soundbar has a 160mm wireless subwoofer for improved bass output.
The HT-S400 offers 330W of power and includes an HDMI ARC one-cable connection. The Sony HT-S400 offers a powerful wireless subwoofer with a large 160mm speaker unit, delivers a deeper, richer bass sound and supports Dolby Digital as well.
It also comes with intuitive controls to wireless connectivity, the remote has a hand-fit design and intuitive operation. There are dedicated volume and sound buttons. The soundbar offers a choice of sound settings for louder dialogue, night mode, and more. Using the BRAVIA power button, you can turn on and off your TV and soundbar wirelessly.
An OLED display window on the soundbar shows input source, volume, and sound options like Sound Field, Voice mode, and Night mode. Also, Sony’s originally developed recycled plastic is used in the subwoofer rear panel of the HT-S400.
