Sony Bravia BZ50L Series 98″ 4K TV launched in India
Sony India launched the BZ50L series, a new line-up of BRAVIA 4K HDR displays designed for commercial environments that demand reliability, picture quality, and broad compatibility.
Key features of the BZ50L series include unparalleled image quality, wider viewing angles, professional features, and a smart System on a Chip (SoC) platform. The flagship BZ50L model boasts 780 nits of brightness and incorporates Sony XR processing for unrivaled picture quality.
The displays also feature a center alignment rail kit for easy mounting, with the 98-inch options having center-aligned VESA patterns as standard. The 98-inch BZ50L display offers a 22% reduction in weight and a 28% slimmer bezel width compared to previous models, making it more portable and installation-friendly.
It also includes sustainability elements, such as the use of SORPLASTM recycled plastic and reduced ink usage on cartons for less waste. The ECO Dashboard provides better understanding of power consumption based on settings configuration.
Other common features in the series include 24/7 operation, one-step setting of presets for easy configuration, mirroring capabilities, Pro Mode technology for simplifying operations, flexible installation options, and support for multi-display installations. Moreover, the BZ50L series comes with increased internal storage of 32GB for added flexibility and ease of use.
The new professional BRAVIA display lineup supports Sony’s alliance partner network, enabling integration and compatibility with established and emerging solutions providers in various industries, including corporate, education, transportation, and retail applications.

The Sony FW-98BZ50L is priced at Rs. 20,00,00 and will be available via Sony authorized distributors across India starting from 28th July 2023.
