The stakes for YRF Spy Universe are just getting bigger and bolder with every passing day. If bringing Salman Khan to do a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and SRK doing a cameo in Tiger 3 wasn’t enough, the two are now going to battle it out against each other in Tiger vs Pathaan.
The release year for Tiger vs Pathaan has been locked for 2025. It happens to be the 60th birth year of both SRK and Salman who were born in 1956. And it was in 1995 wherein both superstars worked together for the first time in Karan Arjun, sharing screen space with other talents like Amrish Puri, Rakhee Gulzar and Ashok Saraf. The duo since then have made guest appearances in each others films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega and Zero. Karan Arjun was a massive hit 30 years ago, some trade experts believe it had sold nearly 3 crore tickets.
In the last few days, there has been a lot movement in YRF’s Spy Universe with director Ayan Mukerji and South sensation Jr NTR having been roped in for War 2. Director Siddharth Anand has been locked for Tiger vs Pathaan. SRK’s Pathaan has till now grossed over 1050 crores at the worldwide box office.
