Samsung ViewFinity S9 27″ 5K UHD Monitor Starts Rolling
Samsung has added the 27-inch ViewFinity S9 (S90PC model) to its ViewFinity monitor lineup. This follows the launch of the ViewFinity S8 (S80PB model) in June 2022, which had an Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution.
The new ViewFinity S9 is equipped with tools for creative industries and was recognized as a CES Innovation Award honoree in 2023. The ViewFinity S9 is a sleek and flexible monitor with ergonomic features such as a height-adjustable stand, tilt capability, and pivot mode for screen rotation.
It also offers VESA mount compatibility. Its 27″ 5K (5,120 x 2,880) display provides vivid colors, crisp details, and excellent visibility with a typical brightness of 600 cd/m2.
Samsung’s Smart Calibration, controlled via smartphone, allows for precise color settings with Delta E <21 accuracy. Users can simply point their smartphone camera at the screen, calibrate it using the SmartThings app, and review a report on the adjustments made and color accuracy.
The ViewFinity S9 monitor prioritizes user comfort and eye care with TUV-certified Intelligent Eye Care and a Matte Display that reduces glare. It offers versatile connectivity with Thunderbolt 4, mini DisplayPort, and USB-C inputs, supporting both Mac and Windows PCs.
The built-in 4K SlimFit camera connects seamlessly via pogo pin, adjusts to the monitor’s angle, and features Auto Framing. With embedded Smart TV apps, built-in speakers with Adaptive Sound+, and a remote control, the ViewFinity S9 provides an all-in-one entertainment experience.

Pricing and availability
The Samsung ViewFinity S9 (S90PC model) will be available for purchase globally from June 26, 2023, with launch schedules varying by region. In the U.S., it will be available in August on Samsung.com and at select retailers for USD $1,599.99 (Rs. 1,31,250 approx.).
