Samsung today announced that it is planning to debut its newest laptop, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, in January of next year in South Korean markets.
The 360-degree hinge on the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro allows it to be used as a laptop or tablet. Also, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is made with parts and technology from Qualcomm, such as processors, graphics processing units, and Wi-Fi connection technology, among other things.
The laptop features a Super AMOLED display, has a 33.7-centimeter touch screen, is 11.5 mm thick, and weighs 1.04 kg, enhancing portability. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro can be used as either a laptop or a tablet because of its 360-degree hinge.
The laptop has Qualcomm’s newest CPU, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 Compute Platform. Compared to the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2, it improves system-level performance by up to 57% and multitasking by up to 85%.
In addition, it features a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, which is up to 60 percent more powerful than the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2, allowing for enhanced visuals and faster premium processing performance. For connectivity, Qualcomm’s FastConnect 6900 system technology was utilized to ensure a quick and seamless connection to Wi-Fi 6E, a technical standard that increased Wi-Fi 6’s coverage.
Regarding the battery, it has a large capacity that lets you watch videos for up to 35 hours on a single charge. The device can also be used with the S Pen stylus from Samsung. It also has better security features to fulfil the specifications of Microsoft’s Secured-Core PC enterprise security solution in Windows 11.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 with Snapdragon 8cx 3rd generation processor comes in Graphite color and is priced at 1.89 million won (US$ 1490 / Rs. 1,23,585 approx.). It will be available available for purchase from January 16, 2023 in South Korea.
