Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Redmi Pad, the first tablet from Redmi in India, on October 4th. The company says “Right Choice for Entertainment, Gaming, E-learning, and Browsing is here”. It shows the tablet in Green colour, but it is expected to come in Graphite Gray and Moonlight Silver colours.
Based on rumours, the tablet will come with a 10.6-inch 2K LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a 10-bit colour depth, brightness of up to 400 nits, feature MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
It is said to feature a 8MP rear and font camera, and the front camera will use FocusFrame technology that utilises the 105-degree field of view. The Redmi Pad is expected to support Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos, and pack a 8000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
