realme 11 Pro+ 5G Samsung 200MP OIS camera, 4X in-sensor zoom teased ahead India launch
realme has announced its partnership with Samsung for the 200 MP OIS camera in the upcoming realme 11 Pro+ at the Mobile Photography Innovation Event. This will set a new benchmark for smartphone photography in the industry, says the company.
Samsung ISOCELL HP3 SuperZoom Sensor
The 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 SuperZoom Camera system with a sensor size as large as 1/1.4-inch, a pixel size of 0.56μm and an f/1.69 aperture in the realme 11 Pro+ promises superb details with Tetra2pixel technology, which can combine up to 16 pixels into one big pixel.
This is a giant leap when compared to competitors who are still using IMX766 sensor in the price range, says realme.
Industry’s First with 4x Lossless Zoom
The In-sensor Zoom technology can support 2x/4x lossless zoom mode, which allows the sensor to switch among different image modes to achieve the same number of real pixels in different focal segments, so that the shooting composition is more free, independent of distance.
As a result, the realme 11 Pro + 5G is the industry’s first mobile phone equipped with 4x lossless zoom, and the image resolution in this focal segment is 242% higher than that of similar products, says realme.
New Camera Features
The realme 11 Pro Series 5G will bring Super Group Portrait and One Take camera features which are used for intelligent composition with AI algorithm, to generate multiple “best-angled” photos at once.
realme said that it plans to invest $40 million in R&D in the next three years to bring about more breakthroughs. With the recent collaboration with Samsung, realme said that it will continue to push boundaries and drive innovation in the smartphone industry.
