OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G And F21 Pro ColorOS 13 Beta Roll Out Begins in India

OPPO introduced the ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 for its smartphones globally last month. At the launch, it confirmed that it will roll out the beta version for the Reno8 Pro 5G first. Today, it has started the rollout of the ColorOS 13 Beta version for Reno8 Pro 5G and F21 Pro users in India.

Steps to Apply for ColorOS13 Beta version on Reno8 Pro 5G and F21 Pro

On the eligible devices

  • Go to settings > About device > Tap the icon on the top right > “Trial version” Fill in the required information and apply.
  • Once your application is verified and approved, you will be getting a ColorOS 13 beta update soon, which you can download

The ColorOS 13 is boosted by OPPO’s latest tech innovations that deliver all-around performance in every aspect of life and work, and new features for smart multi-device connections, said the company. OPPO added that it has worked closely with Google in the development of ColorOS 13 to bring new value to the Android OS experience.

The ColorOS13 brings brand new Aquamorphic design and the card style layout. Its proprietary Dynamic computing engine brings two significant improvements to ColorOS 13 – increased battery life and the ability to run more apps open in the background.

OPPO has partnered with world-leading software and service providers, including Bitmoji, Spotify, Swiggy and Zomato, to provide a wide range of convenient and personalised experiences through the Smart Always-On Display.

In addition to its own focus on privacy and security, ColorOS 13 integrates the underlying privacy protection features of Android 13. Based on the on-device algorithm model, Auto Pixelate automatically recognises and blurs out the profile photos and names in chat screenshots with one tap. The new Private Safe is encrypted with the widely-used Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to provide high levels of security.

Based on the schedule, more Reno and F Series, as well as K10 5G and A76 should get the ColorOS 13 beta update in India in October.
