With the introduction of the OPPO A77 in India, OPPO has expanded the availability of its budget A-series smartphones. The 6.56-inch LCD HD+ display screen on the OPPO A77 has a waterdrop notch and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device has a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP secondary sensor, and an LED flash. The device has an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. The OPPO A77 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 processor and runs on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

The OPPO A77 includes a 5000mAh battery as well as 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device includes Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band Wi-Fi, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and more. Furthermore, the device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage on board, with the ability to expand via microSD card. The device also features a dual speaker set-up and comes in two different colors: Sunset Orange like OPPO F21 Pro and Sky Blue.
