Update: OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord Watch will feature a 1.78-inch (368×448 pixels) AMOLED screen with 500 Nits Peak Brightness, 60Hz refresh rate and 100+ online customizable Watch Faces.
It will support 105 Sports Modes that includes indoor and outdoor walking, and running as well as yoga, cricket, and more.
Earlier: After rumours, OnePlus today confirmed that it will be expanding the Nord ecosystem with the launch of the OnePlus Nord Watch, the first smartwatch under the Nord category in India soon. The teaser image shows a square dial with a button on the right side and a metal casing.
To remind you, the first OnePlus Watch was launched back in March last year. OnePlus said that the Nord Watch will bolster OnePlus Nord’s hold within the wearables segment and aims to make the signature OnePlus technology accessible to a wider set of audience.
The company already has OnePlus Nord Buds, Nord Buds CE and Nord wired earphones in the accessories segment in the Nord.
Bluetooth SIG revealed Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for the smartwatch. Based on earlier rumours, it should come with SpO2 and heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking and other featrures. It is said to get the OnePlus N Health app. It is rumoured to be priced between Rs 5,000 and Rs 8,000.
