The highly anticipated successor to the OnePlus 11, the OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone, is set to be unveiled early next year. Thanks to Steve Hemmerstoffer, popularly known as @OnLeaks, we now have access to high-quality renders that provide a sneak peek into the device’s design.

Continuing the design language of its predecessor, the OnePlus 12 boasts a sleek appearance with a glossy black color and the iconic OnePlus sandstone finish. Notably, OnePlus has made some changes to the camera arrangement, taking inspiration from the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ by opting for a periscopic telephoto lens setup.

The camera module has a distinctive black strip and Hasselblad branding. Seamlessly merging into the side frame, the camera module is complemented by a chrome-accented stainless-steel bump beneath the camera ring.

To accommodate the horizontal stacking of the periscopic lenses, the LED flash has been moved to the top left corner of the camera island, outside the circular ring.

The front of the OnePlus 12 showcases slimmer bezels compared to its predecessor and embraces a punch-hole design for the selfie camera, which has been relocated to the center, enhancing the device’s visual appeal.

Rumored specifications suggest that the OnePlus 12 will feature a curved 2K display with slim bezels and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. Charging capabilities are expected to be top-notch, with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 150W wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging technologies.

Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, accompanied by the Adreno 750 GPU, ensuring a high-performance experience. The camera setup is anticipated to include a 50MP IMX9-series main camera sensor, a 50MP wide-angle lens, and a 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope lens.

As we approach the launch, more details about the OnePlus 12 are expected to surface, giving us a comprehensive overview of its specifications and features.
