Murena Fairphone 4 /e/OS Now Available in The US
Fairphone has introduced the Murena Fairphone 4 in the United States, collaborating with /e/OS since 2020 to offer a privacy-focused operating system to Fairphone users.
This partnership aims to provide the first sustainable and privacy-conscious smartphone option. Users can choose between the standard Android OS (available in Europe only) and /e/OS, which provides an additional layer of data protection.
The Murena Fairphone 4 prioritizes sustainability and fairness. Its unique modular design allows for easy repairs using a standard screwdriver. It has received a perfect score of 10/10 on the iFixit scale and a 9.3 rating on the French Repairability Index.
Notably, the Fairphone 4 is the first modular phone to receive an IP rating of IP54, ensuring protection against dust and rain. Additionally, it is the first smartphone to be certified by TCO Certified, an independent sustainability certification for IT products.
The Murena Fairphone 4 offers advanced specifications, including a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. It provides storage options up to 6/128GB or 8/256GB, expandable up to 2TB via microSD 3.0.
The device is equipped with a 3905mAh battery, supports fast charging with a Type-C 20W charger, and operates on /e/OS Android 11. Other features include Bluetooth 5.1 LE, a fingerprint reader, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
In terms of photography, the Fairphone 4 boasts three high-quality cameras, including a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 25MP selfie camera. It also supports future-proof 5G technology and dual SIM functionality.

The Murena Fairphone 4 comes in two versions: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at USD 599 (Rs. 49,310 approx.), and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, priced at USD 679 (Rs. 55,895 approx.).
You can choose from two colors, Green and Grey. It is available for purchase exclusively on the Murena online shop in the United States and comes with a 5-year warranty.
