Motorola Razr 40 & Razr 40 Ultra Launched in India Starting At Rs. 59,999

motorola just launched the razr 40 and razr 40 ultra smartphones in India, as it had promised. The phones have a large 6.9-inch FHD+ internal foldable OLED screen. The ultra has a 1-165Hz refresh rate LTPO display, and the razr 40 has a 144Hz screen.

The ultra has the largest 3.6-inch FHD+ outer pOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, and the cover screen is smaller at 1.4-inches for the razr 40. The razr 40 ultra retains the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC from last year’s razr model, and the razr 40 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. Both have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The larger cover screen in the Ultra has several options to personalize including the option to change the display layout, fonts, colors, theme, and even the size. You can also access several apps including music player, Maps and more directly from the cover screen.

The number of components in the hinge is reduced to 85, and the hinge holds the display at 45°~120°, so it can stand on its own at multiple angles. The company says it has undergone 400,000 opening and closing tests.

These have a 7000 series aluminum frame. The ultra packs a 3800mAh battery and the razr 40 gets a bigger, 4200mAh battery. Both have 33W TurboPower fast charging and also supports wireless charging.
