At its annual Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft made several exciting announcements. Among the reveals was the introduction of a new Xbox console set to launch later this year.
The new addition, known as the Xbox Series S Carbon Black, offers enhancements over the original Xbox Series S, including a sleek Carbon Black finish and a generous 1TB of internal storage.

The Xbox Series S Carbon Black features a bold and modern matte finish, similar to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Wireless Controller. This elegant color option adds a touch of sophistication to the console’s appearance.
Enhanced Storage and Performance
With double the storage capacity compared to the 512GB Series S, this upgraded console allows you to download even more of your favorite games. Enjoy lightning-fast load times, gameplay of up to 120 FPS, and the impressive Quick Resume feature, all made possible by the Xbox Velocity Architecture.
Compatibility and Game Pass Ultimate

Microsoft’s Xbox Series S Carbon Black console is launching on September 1, 2023. Pre-orders for Xbox Series S – 1TB start today at xbox.com or microsoftstore.com for $349.99 (Rs. 28,853 approx.) / Rs. 38,990 in India (ERP). Microsoft says it’ll be adding more retailers and regions in the weeks to come.
