Lava has announced the roll out of 5G update for its flagship smartphone – AGNI 5G. With this, it is the earliest mobile handset companies in India to enable 5G on its smartphones in the country, said Lava. This is available for both Jio and Airtel enabling 5G services.
Lava said that that its in-house manufacturing and development capabilities allowed it to be one of the first Indian smartphone makers to enable 5G.
The company added that it lays strong emphasis on product development through its research and development capabilities. It said that the main objectives of its research and development efforts are to develop new products with innovative technologies, to continue upgrading and improving the functionalities and features of our existing products and to improve user experience.
The phone has 5G NSA bands N41,N77 and N78 and 5G SA bands N41 and N78. Lava Agni 5G users can download the software update now from the Settings → System → Advanced → System update.
Lava launched its first Indian 5G ready smartphone, AGNI last year. The company is gearing up to launch Blaze 5G that will be priced around Rs. 10,000, making it the India’s most affordable 5G phone.
