Jagapathi Babu will yet again be seen doing what he does best as he will be playing the perfect antagonist in the Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The South star recently opened up about sharing screen space with one of the biggest Bollywood superstars and he had an interesting revelation to make.
Jagapathi Babu reveals why Salman Khan made him dye his hair and wanted him to look younger
Jagapathi Babu mentioned that Khan made him dye his hair to make him look younger. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jagapathi Babu opened up on the reason behind Salman saying so, and stated, “Bhai wanted me to dye my hair black and look younger. This is because he has this logic and said, ‘I can’t fight a person who is older than me.’ So, we had to do that and nothing else. It wasn’t a reservation but something that the character needed.”
He also elaborated on his experience of shooting with such a big actor and added, “He makes it so simple. He guides you. You don’t feel intimidated by him at all because he doesn’t make you feel that way. In fact, we were supposed to have a fight scene but due to covid and dengue, we couldn’t, bad luck.” Interestingly, while this is the first time the South star is working with Khan, he has previously worked with Pooja in Radhe Shyam, co-starring Prabhas.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is directed by Farhad Samji and features Pooja Hegde as Salman Khan’s love interest. The film also stars Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal, and Siddharth Nigam as the superstar’s brothers whereas Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill, and Vinali Bhatnagar essay the characters of their ladyloves. It also stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Bhumika Chawla as Pooja’s family members. The film is slated to release during the occasion of Eid on April 21.
