iQOO Neo 7 Pro Teased Ahead India In launch

iQOO has started teasing the launch of the company’s next Neo series smartphone in India. The company’s India head Nipun Marya posted an image with the Neo, 7 and Pro texts hinting at the Neo 7 Pro smartphone.

This comes after the Neo 7 launch in February. The Neo 7 SE that was launched in China last year is the Neo 7 in India. The original Neo 7 powered by Dimensity 9000+ is not expected to launch in India.

The Neo 7 Pro in India is said to be the rebranded Neo7 Racing Edition, which was introduced in China last year.

The phone is said to retain the 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. However, this is said to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead of MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC in the Neo7.

Instead of 64MP camera in the Neo 7, the Pro version is said to get a 50MP camera with Samsung GN5 sensor with OIS while retaining the 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro is expected to come in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions. We should know the exact launch date in the coming days.
