Smartphone gaming is one of the fastest-growing industries! Well, you may argue that every smartphone is a gaming phone in one or another way, but what if you want an optimized performance? One has to understand the fact that there’s a lot more to achieving a good gaming performance than simply a bunch of specifications and stats.
For example, you’ll likely want a great display to enjoy the game, a high refresh rate to keep it smooth, long-lasting battery life as well as a crazy fast charging technology, and, of course, an ideal cooling system to keep the phone’s temperature under check.
If you are looking for a phone that offers the best gaming experience in the market, look no further than the recently launched OnePlus 10R. Why? Because the OnePlus 10R has everything from a great display to 150W charging technology that can take your gaming experience to the next level.
Below, we have listed some of the convincing reasons that make the OnePlus 10R ‘THE’ phone for gaming. Take a look.
Fastest charging experience in OnePlus’ history
The OnePlus 10R comes with a 4500mAh battery under the hood. The best part here is the device is supported by 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition fast charging technology that can charge 10R’s battery from 1-30% in just 3 minutes and 100% in 17 minutes.
The OnePlus 10R comes in two variants – 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition and 80W SUPERVOOC. The OnePlus 10R devices with 80W SUPERVOOC come with a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged from 1-100% in 32 minutes.
Are you worried about safety? Both 80W SUPERVOOC and 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition are equipped with a Customised Smart Charging Chip that manages charging on the device and guarantees charging safety.
To keep the battery safe and sound, the company has equipped 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition with a feature ‘Battery Health Engine’ featuring two crucial technologies – the Smart Battery Health Algorithm and Battery Healing Technology.
These two technologies combinedly will ensure the battery of the OnePlus 10R with 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition can retain 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles.
MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX
The OnePlus 10R is powered by the latest 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX octa-core chipset that combines the HyperBoost game frame stabilization engine to offer game stability, AI computing, and night scene video noise reduction.
The SoC offers CPU speeds up to 2.85 GHz, and an 11% improved multi-core performance compared to the previous generation.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX takes gaming performance further with 20% improved GPU performance over the MediaTek Dimensity 8000, along with 25% improved power efficiency over previous MediaTek Dimensity chipsets.
The OnePlus 10R features up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 high-speed flash storage.
HyperBoost Gaming Engine
The HyperBoost Gaming Engine in the OnePlus 10R enables powerful gaming features like General Performance Adapter (GPA) Frame Stabiliser, which reduces frame rate fluctuation. According to OnePlus, GPA Frame Stabiliser does this by monitoring system performance in real-time and leveraging exclusive AI computing models to precisely adjust CPU and GPU resources.
Passive cooling system
The OnePlus 10R comes with the largest vapor chamber in any OnePlus smartphone to date, measuring 4129.8 mm², along with a new cooling film made from high-performance graphite and graphene technology. In total, the OnePlus 10R’s cooling system offers a cooling area of over 35,100 mm2.
