HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2022 With 14.2″ 3.1K Display 12th Gen Core Processors Announced
HUAWEI held a global Smart Office launch event yesterday as promised. The firm unveiled a variety of products, and it has refreshed its top-of-the-line MateBook X Pro laptop series with the launch of the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2022. Let’s have a closer look at this laptop.
HUAWEI MateBook X Pro Features:
The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro features a skin-soothing metallic body that weighs as little as 1.26 kg. One of the main highlights of this laptop is the display, which is a 14.2-inch 3.1K (3120 x 2080 pixel) touch screen that boasts △E < 1 colour accuracy, P3 and sRGB colour gamut and can produce 1.07 billion colours.
The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2022 has Intel Evo certification and comes with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P or i5-1240P Processor and a brand-new hybrid architecture that bolsters the 4 Performance-Cores dedicated to intensive tasks and 8 Efficient-Cores that save power during daily work. It has 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to a 1 TB NVMe PCIe SSD to boost the data transfer rate.
For heat dissipation, the Dual Shark Fin fan and three-dimensional air intake design on the MateBook work with the high-performance VC heat dissipation modules to cover more heat dissipation areas, improving the heat dissipation efficiency. And, the Super Trube accelerator flawlessly allocates resources in real time, providing good performance.
The laptop has a setup of six speakers powered by HUAWEI Sound. Also, the full-area pressure-sensitive touchpad provides a variety of gestures for easy accessibility. Other features include 90W SuperCharge support, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, and Wi-Fi 6E support.

The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2022 is available in White, Ink Blue, and Space Gray, with prices starting at 8,999 yuan (US$ 1,333 / Rs. 1,06,410 approx.) for the Core i5 model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Intel Core i7 model starts at 9,999 yuan (US$ 1,481 / Rs. 1,18,210 approx.) for the 16GB+512GB variant, while the 16GB+1TB variant costs 10,999 yuan (US$ 1,629 / Rs. 1,30,080 approx.). It is available to order and will go on sale in China from August 3rd.
Do note that HUAWEI hasn’t announced the global pricing yet, and also the i5 model of the MateBook X Pro 2022 isn’t listed on the global site.
