The device, which made its debut at Mobile World Congress 2023, showcases breakthroughs in design, display, photography, and performance. HONOR is now offering a unique insight into its sophisticated R&D practices and facilities.
HONOR Magic5 Pro’s Autofocus and Eye Care Features
The HONOR Magic5 Pro boasts advanced autofocus photography capabilities, thanks to the brand’s dedicated camera labs that conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop its AI algorithm.
This resulted in an autofocus speed increase of 245% compared to the previous generation, making it easier to capture moving scenes with different speed, distance, and lighting conditions.

Additionally, the HONOR Magic5 Pro’s AI Motion Sensing feature, powered by intelligent AI Recognition technology, enables users to capture the best moments in fast-moving scenarios.
Commitment to Eye Care Innovation
The brand also prioritizes eye care innovation, demonstrated by its Circadian Night Display and Dynamic Dimming features. The HONOR Magic5 Pro is the first smartphone to receive the TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly Certification, which regulates blue light and gradually adjusts the night-time color temperature to ease users into a better night’s sleep.
Meanwhile, the Dynamic Dimming feature is tested to be effective in reducing eye fatigue by 18% after 45 minutes of use.

Highest Global Standard of Product Quality
HONOR spent more than $20 million on quality testing equipment at its Global Compliance and Testing Center (GCTC) to guarantee product quality. The GCTC enables HONOR to run in-house tests to verify more than 200 certification test standards, including the Conformité Européenne (CE) certification.

The brand also goes beyond these standards to ensure the best product quality, running SAR tests on every batch of devices to ensure user safety. As a result, the HONOR Magic5 Pro’s SAR rating for mass production is 35% lower than the compliance requirement, making it a reliable and safe device.
