HONOR has recently begun to quietly debut new devices in India. HONOR Choice Earbuds X were released a few weeks ago, and the company is currently ready to release a new tablet. HONOR is bringing the Pad 8 tablet in India after a lengthy absence in the tablet market. The company has begun teasing it on Flipkart, so we expect it will be a Flipkart exclusive launch.
The HONOR Pad 8 is nothing new, as it’s already available in certain global markets after the official China announcement back in July. If you’re unaware of the tablet, it has a 12-inch 2K LCD screen with an 87% screen-to-body ratio and is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. It runs Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1. It has 5-megapixel front and rear cameras.
Other highlights of the tablet include a sleek 6.9mm metal body, 8 speakers, HONOR’s self-developed audio tuning algorithm, DTS audio tuning technology, and Hi-Res Gold Label certification. It comes with a 7250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.
