HONOR has confirmed the company’s next flagship product launch event in China on November 22nd and 23rd. The company will also introduce the new generation MagicOS at the event.
Regarding the phone, we can expect a new HONOR Magic V foldable phone as the successor to the Magic V that was introduced earlier this year. This is said to be a minor upgrade with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and the V2 model with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 is expected next year. We can also expect the HONOR 80 series at the event.
Based on rumours, the HONOR 80 series will include three models: HONOR 80 SE, HONOR 80 and HONOR80 Pro powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs.
The HONOR 80 Pro could get a series 200MP camera, which could be the Samsung HP1 sensor. The other two models could get a 64MP or a 108MP camera. The base version could get a 66W fast charging, and other models are said to get 100W fast charging.
In addition, HONOR CEO revealed that the upcoming MagicOS 7.0 will offer cross-application, cross-device, and cross-system intelligent IoT experience offering a seamless user experience for different platforms and devices.
