Bose has announced the launch of new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II. The firm claims it as the world’s best noise cancellation headphone. This comes with Bose CustomTune sound calibration technology that intelligently personalises audio and noise cancellation performance to the unique shape of every ear type.
The new QC Earbuds II have a completely redesigned form factor, making each bud about a third smaller than its predecessor. It has a stability band and an umbrella-shaped silicone ear tip that work together to make a tight seal at the entrance of your ear. It also comes with a Bose Fit Kit that includes three sizes of eartips and three sizes of stability bands.
Bose QC Earbuds II Features
The QuietComfort Earbuds II have CustomTune sound calibration. Your ear canal’s acoustic response is measured by playing a patented tone and recording it with the earbud’s built-in microphone. In a fraction of a second, based on that data, your audio and noise cancellation settings will be fine-tuned to your preferences.
The CustomTune technology also optimises the sound frequency profile for each ear, so the music that hits the eardrum is lifelike, balanced audio with nuance, clarity, and depth. It also calibrates the noise reduction signal to your hearing, improving performance.
CustomTune’s customization boosts ActiveSense’s Aware Mode. In “Aware Mode,” it improves transparency, so your surroundings sound realistic and lifelike. And when loud disturbances occur nearby, ActiveSense responds with precisely the proper amount of noise cancellation, customised to your ear, to lessen noise as it occurs and just for the duration of the disturbance.
Four microphones—one inside and three outside—are used by the QC Earbuds II to detect, quantify, and transmit unwanted sounds to a special electronic chip. The system responds with a precise, equal, and opposing signal in less than a fraction of a millisecond, working in tandem with small transducers to produce ANC.
The new QC Earbuds II have Bluetooth 5.3, an IPX4 grade for sweat and water resistance, and function with a phone’s built-in voice assistant. The case provides three more charges for the buds’ six-hour battery life. In one hour, the case can fully charge the buds, and a 20-minute charge gives two hours of playing. USB-C recharges the case in three hours.
The buds have a battery life of up to six hours and can be charged for up to 24 hours. The case can charge the buds completely in one hour, and a rapid 20-minute charge can provide up to two hours of playback. The case recharges completely in three hours through USB-C.
Left and right earphones provide capacitive touch controls for play/pause, volume, track skip, and answering/ending calls. Bose Music app updates will provide additional features and benefits, such as shortcut settings, noise cancellation modes, and adjustable EQ.
