Bivo X90 Series And TWS 3 To Be Announced on November 22

After teasers and rumours, vivo has confirmed the launch of vivo X90 series in China on November 22nd. The X90 series will have X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro + phones. The X90 and X90 are said to be powered by Dimensity 9200 and the X90 Pro+ should be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC.

The teaser image confirms ZEISS optics and T* coating for the camera. These will use the self-developed V2 chip that was introduced last week. The X90 series is said to use BOE screen, pack 120W fast charging, and should run OriginOS 3.

The image reveals quad rear cameras for the Pro and Pro+ models, leather-like back and a metal strip.

According to the images shared by the company, the phone will come in Blue, Red and Black colours with a leather-like for the Red version.

Based on the camera samples shared by the company, the vivo X90 Pro+ is said to pack a 50MP main camera with 1″ Sony IMX989 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with IMX598 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 50MP IMX758 Portrait camera with f/1.6 aperture 2x zoom and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B Periscope Telephoto camera with f/3.5 aperture 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

vivo recently detailed the camera upgrades in the X90 series. It said that the phone’s photosensitive ability will be 77% better than that of the 1/1.3-inch Samsung ISOCELL GNV, and the sensor size will be 1-inch. It also said that the phone will come with a Super-sensing portrait system, and vivo and Zeiss have built a new 50mm portrait lens.

The new “Sky Night View System” uses a self-developed AI algorithm and an improved lens sensor to increase picture sensitivity by 100% and supports ISO up to 102400, allowing lengthy exposures without tripods or stabilizers. And, with handheld devices, users can now capture starry skies.

The vivo TWS3 is said to feature 48dB/49dB noise cancellation. We should know more details in the coming days.
