Apple Watch Ultra Launched in India For Rs 89900

Apple today introduced the Apple Watch Ultra along with Apple iPhone 14 which has a new striking design with endurance, exploration, and adventure-focused functions. The display on the Apple Watch Ultra is the biggest and brightest one yet. It has a 49mm titanium case and a flat sapphire front crystal. The watch features an action button that provides quick access to several features and also has the longest battery life at 36 hours.

Aerospace-grade titanium balances weight, durability, and corrosion resistance. The shell rises to protect the 2x-brighter Retina display than any previous Apple Watch display. The orange Action button lets users access exercises, compass waypoints, and more. Three microphones improve call quality on the Apple Watch Ultra, while adaptive beamforming reduces background noise and clarifies voices.

Also, the Apple Watch Ultra uses machine learning to cut down on wind noise so that call audio is clear. All Ultra watches are capable of using mobile connectivity and can operate for up to 36 hours on a single battery. When using the low-power level, the battery life is also increased to 60 hours. GPS and heart rate monitoring are still available in such modes.

With a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile cycle ride, and a full 26.2-mile marathon, Apple claims that the Ultra has adequate battery life for the majority of users to finish a long-course triathlon. Apple Watch Ultra is approved for MIL-STD-810H, a military and rugged equipment standard. Turning the digital crown makes the Wayfinder interface red for nighttime use.

The Ultra has a new multi-band GPS frequency, L5. It’s only on Garmin and Coros now. It also has a trackback option in case you fall off the grid. In watchOS 9, a new Compass app includes Compass Waypoints to designate locations. Triathletes can use the Action button to swap between race legs (i.e., switching from swimming to running).

Later this year, track athletes will be auto-detected. 86-decibel sirens with emergency features help others find you. Apple Watch Ultra is built for kitesurfing, wakeboarding, and scuba diving to 40 metres. Apple Watch Ultra is water-resistant (WR100) and is certified to EN 13319, an international diving standard.

The Apple Watch Ultra’s Depth app features a redesigned depth gauge and UI. Depth indicates time, current depth, water temperature, time underwater, and max depth with the help of the Depth app. Oceanic+ turns the Apple Watch Ultra into a dive computer in conjunction with Huish Outdoors. Oceanic+ includes a personalized user profile, dive reports, and a dive logbook that syncs to an iPhone.

Apple Watch Ultra offers heart rate tracking, ECG and Blood Oxygen apps, activity rings, mindfulness, and various health, safety, and navigation functions. The Apple Watch Ultra benefits women’s health. Two sensors eliminate body bias and external bias. Family planning can benefit from retroactive ovulation estimates.

Thermometry improves menstruation forecasts. Users of Cycle Tracking on iOS 16 and watchOS 9 may get a notification if their history shows that they are leaving. Crash Detection for Apple Watch employs two new motion sensors and a sophisticated sensor-fusion algorithm. When Apple Watch senses a severe car crash, it checks on the user and dials emergency medical services if they are unresponsive after 10 seconds. The user’s device location is shared with emergency responders and contacts.

Alpine, Trail, and Ocean are new bands. They can withstand “long runs, hard falls, and rippling currents” The lightweight Trail Loop is suited for runners and has an adjustable tab. The Alpine Loop contains two layers of high-strength yarn and a G-hook clasp, whereas the Ocean Band stretches and features tubular geometry for a better fit.

The Apple Watch Ultra is eco-friendly as it uses the recovered gold to plate many PCBs. This helps Apple get closer to its goal of getting rid of plastic packaging by 2025, as the blog post cites. Furthermore, the firm says that all health and fitness data in the Health app, besides Medical ID, is encrypted when an iPhone is locked with a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID. And all the iCloud Health data is protected in transit and on Apple servers. The Health App data saved to iCloud with two-factor authentication and a passcode is encrypted end-to-end, ensuring Apple cannot access it.
