AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 7900X3D And Ryzen 7 7800X3D Announced

After introduction of the Ryzen 7000 desktop processors back in August, at its CES 2023 event AMD introduced the new Ryzen 7000X3D Series processors with AMD 3D V-Cache technology, which it claims to be the fastest gaming processors in the world.

For the first time, 3D V-Cache is coming to the Ryzen 9 family. The 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X3D and 16-core Ryzen 9 7950X3D combine high core clocks and core counts with almost 150 MB of on-chip memory to boost game performance, while delivering top-tier multithreaded performance for content creators, says the company.

Compared to the Core i9-13900K, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D promises 9% performance improvement in Watchdogs: Legion, 11% in DOTA 2, 13% in Rainbow Six Siege and 24% in Horizon Zero Dawn.

The 8-core Ryzen 7 7800X3D promises significantly better gaming performance than the 5800X3D.

The Ryzen 9 7800X3D promises 21% better performance in Rainbow Six Siege, 22% in Warhammer Dawn of War 3, 23% in CS: GO. and 30% in DOTA 2 compared to Ryzen 7 5800X3D at high 1080p settings.
