Airtel Xstream Fiber Launched in Ladakh And Andaman And Nicobar Islands

Bharti Airtel has launched Airtel Xstream Fiber, a Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) broadband service in Ladakh and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. With the establishment of fibernet, the firm has become the first private ISP to roll out FTTH broadband in these remote areas, providing customers with world-class digital access. Over the next three years, the company plans to expand its FTTH footprint to over 2000 towns across the country, contributing to a digitally connected India.

Airtel Xstream Fiber’s high-speed broadband service is currently available in Leh in Ladakh, and Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and is backed by Airtel’s superior 24×7 customer support and proven network reliability. This move was made possible by the Honourable Prime Minister’s commissioning of the undersea cable link between Chennai and Port Blair last year, which brought high-speed data connectivity to the region as part of the government’s Digital India vision. In the coming months, Airtel intends to expand the service to additional key locations in the region.

Airtel Xstream Fiber provides Wi-Fi routers that ensure high-speed data as well as unlimited local and STD calls.
