Adobe has announced the expansion of Firefly, its family of creative generative AI models, to support text prompts in over 100 languages. This update enables users worldwide to create images and text effects using their native languages in the standalone Firefly web service.

Enhancing Creative Confidence

With Firefly’s integration into Photoshop, Express, and Illustrator, Adobe continues to prioritize creators. By serving as a creative co-pilot, Firefly removes barriers between imagination and the blank page. It brings precision, power, speed, and ease directly into Creative Cloud applications and workflows, helping customers build their creative confidence.

Broadening User Base and Commercial Use

This announcement extends Firefly’s reach to millions of new users, regardless of their experience levels. It empowers them to confidently generate content suitable for commercial use. The Firefly website and Photoshop have already witnessed users generating over one billion assets, making them among Adobe’s most successful beta releases to date.

Support for Indian Regional Languages and Localization

Firefly now includes support for text prompts in eight Indian regional languages, namely Gujarati, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.

This addition allows users from various regions to utilize their native languages in the standalone Firefly web service. Additionally, the service will be localized in 20 languages, with versions available in French, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
