AMD has revealed the pricing and availability for their Ryzen 7000X3D Series Processors. At CES 2023 event, they introduced new options for the AM5 ecosystem, including the new Ryzen 7000 processors with 3D V-Cache, energy-efficient 65W processors, and a wider selection of AM5 motherboards, including budget-friendly B650 options.
Ryzen 7000 Series with AMD 3D V-Cache technology
The Ryzen 7000 Series processors from AMD feature AMD 3D V-Cache technology, which greatly improves gaming performance. This technology has been extended to include both Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 processors. With chiplet technology, Ryzen 9 processors offer high-frequency performance and the performance boost from AMD 3D V-Cache. This allows enthusiasts to have both top-notch gaming and creator performance in one processor, capable of handling any workload.
AM5 motherboards
If you’re either upgrading or constructing your first AM5 system, you’ll be pleased to know that the process is straightforward. Simply install the processor, update the BIOS and chipset driver, and you’re all set. The AM5 motherboards have an easy BIOS flash feature, so compatibility won’t be an issue. For processors without a cooler, like the Ryzen 7000 Series with AMD 3D V-Cache, a 280mm AIO liquid cooler is suggested for optimal performance.
