Google Rolls Out Final Android 13 Beta Update

Google Rolls Out Final Android 13 Beta Update

Google has released the fourth and final public beta of Android 13 today so that users who are interested can try out the upcoming update before it’s available to the public. But more crucially, this beta update provides an early preview of the changes coming so that developers can prepare their applications to suit the Android 13.0 system.

With this most recent update, there aren’t many significant changes (Google already achieved platform stability with the last beta), but still more fine-tuning should result in a more stable perspective. Support for the new Bluetooth LE Audio standard, more options for customizing app icons, a new photo picker to limit which images an app can access, and a new permission to cut down on unnecessary notifications are all features that have already been seen in earlier beta versions of Android 13.

Android 13 has the same tablet improvements that were added to Android 12L, which was a small update with improvements for big-screen devices. Relatively speaking, Android 13 brings fewer user-facing enhancements than the Android 12 upgrade from the previous year, although that might be a blessing for a smoother experience, including non-pixel devices.

Visit Google’s developer site to get installation instructions if you’re interested in trying out the most recent beta update.
